These sessions will target specific areas of the body to address these concerns and limitations.

COURSE CONTENT + MODULES

MODULE 1 - THE PREP WORK

Let’s test your ROM (Range of Movement) to establish where your own limitations are. This means we can target those areas in the most intelligent way and get the most out of the program, so you’re not wasting time working on areas that don’t need any work, and ensures every single action you take inside the program is making you better and stronger.

MODULE 2 - THE FOUNDATIONS

Understand the movements and demands that triathlon places on the body, which muscles you use the most when you swim, bike and run. why you feel why some areas of the body get tighter than others and how tightness and limitations in your ROM can adversely affect your performance (sometimes without you even realising it).

MODULE 3 - THE FUNDAMENTALS

Now we’re getting to the good stuff. There’s no false hype here - straight into the fundamentals of flexibility, mobility and active recovery and exactly how to design your practise to get the best possible results.

Module 4: Sessions by anatomy

Learn how to design sessions based on different parts of the body. Now you’ll know exactly how to recover those consistent niggles, overcome bigger injuries or just prepare your body properly depending on what sport and muscle groups / areas of the body you will be working for AND now we’ve tested your ROM, you’ll know exactly which areas of the body you need to focus on.

Module 5: Flows by sport

Learn what specific flows, practises and movements are the most useful for swim, bike and run respectively. Both pre- and post racing.

Module 6: It’s race time

How do you prepare for a race so that you know, without doubt, you are both at your mental and physical peak and feel readier than ever to go the distance and beat the competition? I’m revealing all of my secrets in this module for intelligent pre-race preparation. I’m leaving out no detail. This is no hype, no fluff, solid expertise from an experienced, accomplished triathlete on exactly how to be faster and recover faster.

Module 7: Reassessments

We laid the foundation, did the preparation, worked on your champion’s mindset, worked through the flows, and raced. In this module we’ll talk about how to continue re-testing yourself for greater and greater performance and how to interpret the results.

 FAQS

I’m really stiff and inflexible, I feel like I can’t do yoga?

This is like saying you are too dirty to take a shower! The more inflexible and stiff you feel, the more you need yoga. And the more of an immediate difference you’ll notice.

I feel like I’ll look stupid and won’t be very good at it

Being good at yoga or touching your toes is not the point here. Improving your ROM and efficiency is. Yoga is a proven, extremely effective tool for this. It is not a competition. You’ll never get better if you don’t first try.

But how will doing yoga make me faster?

Does your bike run better, or go faster with a rusty chain? No. A well-oiled machine will always serve you better. Your body is exactly the same. Movement efficiencies and supple muscles will allow your body to perform better, for longer and you can get the power down to the kinetic chain: to run faster, to swim smoother and bike stronger.
